PGA Jr League is open to all players with two age groups: 14-17 and 13 & U.

The Gauntlet PGA Jr Program is typically 2 days a week.

Practices are usually 1.5 hours, while matches are 2.5 hours

The Gauntlet boasts a robust PGA Jr. League program. We typically have enough participants to form multiple teams, creating a dynamic and engaging environment. Each week, these teams compete against one another right here at The Gauntlet, fostering friendly competition and camaraderie among players.

On Match Days kids are broken out into teams of 2-3 players who will compete agains another group of 2-3 players.

Matches are played in a scramble format. This means that all players on a team hit drives. The best shot is selected, then each player plays from the selected spot, and this process continues until the ball is holed.

The scramble format is key in allowing everyone to hit shots and contribute to the team. PGA Jr. League utilizes match play scoring, which focuses on performance vs. a score-to-par as is traditional with golf.

Within a PGA Jr. League game, pairs play in a head-to-head, 9-hole match. Each match is broken into three flags. Each flag is three holes in a row, and each team has the opportunity to earn points at the end of each flag.

There are also options for inter-club matches with other PGA Jr. League programs around the area.

Registration open – Closes August 15th
